Beginning therapy is an important decision, and it is essential that you feel confident in your choice of provider. To support informed decision-making, A New Beginning Counseling offers a complimentary 15-minute introductory phone or video consultation.
 
This brief consultation is designed to help you determine whether our practice is an appropriate fit for your needs before scheduling a full session.

What to Expect During Your Consultation

The 15-minute consultation is a non-clinical screening intended to:
  • Answer general questions about our therapeutic approach and services
  • Review practice logistics, availability, and next steps
  • Determine whether your needs align with our areas of practice
  • Support your comfort in initiating services

Important Information & Professional Boundaries

To ensure clarity and ethical practice, please note the following:
  • This consultation is administrative and informational only
  • No clinical services are provided during this call
  • We do not offer clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment planning, or therapeutic intervention during the consultation
  • The consultation does not establish a therapist-client relationship
If the conversation extends beyond the scheduled 15 minutes and transitions into a therapeutic discussion or the provision of specific clinical services, a pro-rated fee equivalent to a full session will be charged as an out-of-pocket expense. This service is not reimbursable by insurance.
These boundaries are maintained to uphold professional ethics and comply with insurance and regulatory guidelines.

Marriage Counseling

Family Therapy
